Dreyfus

A French bistro tucked into a narrow row house on Harbord Street in Toronto, open since 2019, with about 25 seats and a tiny kitchen. Chef Zach Kolomeir was previously chef de cuisine at Joe Beef in Montreal. The short menu never sits still and keeps to simple, well executed French cooking, with nods to his Jewish heritage and to the mark Jewish cooking has left on Quebecois food. Reservations are famously hard to come by. It has appeared on Canada's 100 Best and is listed in the MICHELIN Guide for Toronto.
