Campechano

A Mexican taqueria on Adelaide Street West in Toronto, opened in November 2015 by couple Daniel Roe and Raena Fisher around a short menu of straightforward Mexican cooking, with a second address on College Street. Tortillas are pressed and griddled daily from heirloom corn bought directly from smallholder farmers in Mexico. The taco list stays concise, running to smoky barbacoa with jalapeno salsa, beer battered haddock, and sauteed mushrooms with double smoked bacon and chilli oil. The Adelaide location has held a Bib Gourmand in the MICHELIN Guide since 2022.
