Cà Phê Rang

A Vietnamese spot near Spadina in Toronto, opened as a collaboration between Vietnamese cook Rang Nguyen and his former apprentice, chef Matty Matheson, and known for homestyle Vietnamese cooking. The banh mi comes with roasted pork, the pho is a favourite with sliced rare beef, and the chicken wings are cooked to order. Coffee is brewed in a phin filter with beans from Saigon Drip, a Vietnamese owned Toronto roaster, and arrives still dripping, taken black or sweetened with condensed milk. It is listed as MICHELIN Selected in the Toronto guide.
