The Lunch Lady of Saigon

The Lunch Lady of Saigon, at 93 Ossington Avenue in Toronto, is the second Canadian location after the flagship in Vancouver. It is named after Nguyễn Thị Thanh, the Saigon street vendor known as The Lunch Lady after she appeared on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. The kitchen builds on her recipes for Vietnamese street food, with dishes such as pomelo salad with crispy shallots and peanuts, garlic noodles with a slow-poached egg, and pho. It was named a Bib Gourmand in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Toronto & Region.
