Alo

An intimate contemporary French restaurant on the third floor of a Victorian building at 163 Spadina Avenue in downtown Toronto, opened in July 2015 by chef Patrick Kriss. Dining is by tasting menu, offered in four, six and ten course formats, with the shorter menus also served at the bar. Kriss trained at Restaurant Daniel in New York and at Michelin-starred kitchens in France including La Maison Troisgros before returning to Toronto. Alo has held one MICHELIN star since the Toronto guide launched in 2022 and has been ranked first on Canada's 100 Best Restaurants for several consecutive years.
