Alder

A Mediterranean-inspired restaurant on the ground floor of the Ace Hotel Toronto at 51 Camden Street, developed with chef Patrick Kriss of the Alo Food Group and run day to day by executive chef Devin Murphy. The dining room pairs dark brick floors, Douglas fir and terra cotta with tall windows, and a wood-fired grill sits in open view with its stack of logs. Cooking centres on that fire, with dishes such as beef carpaccio, a cucumber salad with shaved fennel, dukkah and hazelnuts, roast chicken and bone-in strip loin. Alder is listed in the MICHELIN Guide Toronto.
