Mother's Dumplings

Mother's Dumplings is a Chinatown institution in Toronto. Chef-owner Zhen Feng opened an eight-table nook on Huron Street in 2005 and moved to a much larger space five years later, boiling, steaming and pan-frying her way into the city's affections. The menu covers many Chinese dishes, but the namesake dumplings, rolled and folded all day by a dedicated team, are the order; the boiled pork and dill dumplings alone make a meal, and frozen bags are available to take home. It is a Recommended restaurant in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Toronto & Region.
