Bar Isabel

A Spanish tapas restaurant at 797 College Street in Toronto, opened in 2013 by chef and restaurateur Grant van Gameren after he left The Black Hoof, at a point when Spanish cooking had little presence in the city. The room carries an old world tavern feel, and the kitchen keeps to rustic, product led plates alongside a drinks list weighted toward Spanish wine and sherry. Bar Isabel is listed in the MICHELIN Guide Toronto.
