Amal

A modern Lebanese restaurant on the second floor at 131 Bloor Street West in Toronto's Yorkville, opened by Charles Khabouth and Danny Soberano of INK Entertainment. The name Amal is an Arabic word meaning hope. Executive chef Rony Ghaleb was born in Beirut, where he worked in hotels including the Four Seasons, before moving to Toronto in 2019. The menu runs through cold and hot mezze, dips, charcoal skewers and sharing platters, and much of the decor and tableware was sourced in Lebanon. Amal is listed in the MICHELIN Guide Toronto.
