A bright spot in Vancouver's Olympic Village, where chef and co-owner Francisco Higareda cooks traditional pan-regional Mexican food the way his mother, Ophelia, did. Stunning murals and carvings fill a room that is always packed, so reserve or pass the time with margaritas; try corn-crusted octopus with Oaxacan mole blanco, a trio of tacos on locally made tortillas and tres leches cake, on the patio when weather allows.
