Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Cafe

Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Cafe brings Japanese souffle pancakes to CrossIron Mills, the big outlet mall just north of Calgary. The pancakes arrive tall, jiggly and only lightly sweet, in flavours like the Fuwa Fuwa Signature with fresh berries, tiramisu, matcha tiramisu and creme brulee. The menu also runs to pastries, macarons, specialty lattes, sodas and iced teas, so there is plenty to choose beyond the pancakes. Each order is made fresh, which means a 20 to 30 minute wait when the shop is busy. Fuwa Fuwa is a Canadian chain with locations across Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta.
