Chez Mathilde

A bistro in the centre of Tadoussac, in Quebec's Cote-Nord region, created in 2007 by Mireille Perron and Jean-Sebastien Sicard. The chef writes two tasting menus, one given over to the land, with vegetables from the kitchen garden, forest plants and game, the other to the best of the St Lawrence, including snow crab, bluefin tuna, lobster and halibut. Seasoning stays simple and balanced so the ingredients lead. It opens for about five months of the year and stays busy throughout. In May 2025 it was listed as MICHELIN Selected, the only address on the Cote-Nord to make the guide.
