Carlino

An Italian restaurant and lounge on the third floor of a hotel on Alberni Street in downtown Vancouver, steps from Robson Street. The kitchen looks to Friuli in north east Italy, along with neighbouring Trentino Alto Adige and Veneto, and to the Slavic and Germanic influences that mark the region. Pasta is made fresh in house every day, including regional shapes such as cjarsons, a half moon that might be filled with creamy beetroot puree and finished with poppy seed butter. The menu follows the seasons and leans on local suppliers. It is listed as MICHELIN Selected.
