Café Medina

An all day breakfast and Mediterranean inspired restaurant in downtown Vancouver, open since 2008. It began on Beatty Street as a small Belgian waffle house that doubled as a private dining room for its sister restaurant Chambar, before moving to its current address on Richards Street. Widely credited with starting the city's upscale all day breakfast trend, it is known for Liege waffles, egg dishes, and a paella of orzo with smoky chorizo, roasted vegetables, avocado and a fried egg, plus serious coffee and a good range of meat free and gluten free options. It is listed as MICHELIN Selected in the Vancouver guide.
