Burdock & Co.

A restaurant on Main Street in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant, opened in 2013 by chef Andrea Carlson. The cooking is farm to table in the fullest sense, hyper seasonal and rooted in place, drawing on British Columbia growers, foragers and fishers, with a wine list that favours natural bottles. It was awarded one MICHELIN Star when the Vancouver guide launched in 2022, making it the first Canadian restaurant owned and operated by a female chef to earn a star, and has retained it every year since. The same team also runs Harvest Community Foods and the wine bar Bar Gobo.
