Bar Goa

An Indian restaurant at 36 Toronto Street in the St. Lawrence area of downtown Toronto, taking its name and much of its cooking from the western Indian state of Goa. It was opened by restaurateur Hemant Bhagwani, who also started Goa Indian Farm Kitchen and Goa New York, and since June 2024 has been owned by Jayadeep Patra and Madhusmita Patra. The kitchen works in a tasting menu format, unusual for Indian cooking in the city. Bar Goa is listed in the MICHELIN Guide Toronto.
