AO Cake (Midland)

AO Cake (Midland) is a popular boutique bakery located at 3272 Midland Ave in Scarborough, Ontario. Situated in the Skycity Plaza near Midland & Finch, the brand officially rebranded and expanded to this location in late 2023, while also operating another branch in North York. The shop is well-regarded for its custom celebration cakes and daily fresh pastries that offer a lighter, less-sweet flavor profile. Its notable signature items include the Taro Mochi Cake—featuring a fluffy three-layer chiffon cake filled with fresh taro cream and chewy mochi pieces—along with the Earl Grey Hazelnut Crispy Cake, Mango Thousand Layer Box, and seasonal festive cupcakes.
