A tasting menu restaurant at 1809 West 1st Avenue in Vancouver's Kitsilano, a short walk from Kitsilano Beach, opened in 2015 by chef and owner Michael Robbins with operations manager Jeff Parr. Since June 2020 the kitchen has served a multi-course set menu only, built around seasonal produce from local farms and suppliers and matched with wine pairings and cocktails. The dining room reflects Robbins's interest in art and design, with street art and collected pieces set against a restrained interior. AnnaLena was named one of enRoute's best new restaurants in its opening year, appears regularly on Canada's 100 Best Restaurants, and holds one MICHELIN star.
