Alma

A small modern Chinese restaurant at 1194 Bloor Street West in Toronto's Bloordale Village, opened in July 2018 by head chef Anna Chen and her husband William Dunn. Chen was born in Calcutta to a Hakka Chinese family, and her cooking runs between Chinese technique and the flavours she grew up with. Parmesan tapioca fritters are the house signature. Alma was named a Bib Gourmand restaurant at the first Toronto MICHELIN Guide ceremony in 2022 and has held the distinction since.
