Sam's Congee Delight

Sam's Congee Delight (黃三記) is a Cantonese congee and snack restaurant on Woodbine Avenue in Markham, rooted in a tradition tracing back to a Hong Kong open-air food stall founded by Wong Sam in Kwun Tong in 1966. After the Wong family relocated to Canada in the 1990s, they brought the same congee heritage to the Greater Toronto Area. The open-concept interior allows diners to observe the kitchen at work through a glass pane. Signature offerings include silky Cantonese congee with customisable toppings and a selection of authentic Chinese snacks.
