Masa Mama Taqueria, located in the heart of the Marda Loop neighborhood in Calgary, Alberta, is a modern Mexican restaurant born from the highly popular local pop-up Con Mi Taco. Spearheaded by Chef Mikko Tamarra and Andrew Ocasion, the eatery officially opened its doors in late 2024. The restaurant features a chic mid-century modern aesthetic blended with cozy, vibrant Mexican inspired decor. The menu highlights bold flavors and elevated street food made with fresh ingredients, specializing in hand-pressed tortillas made daily and creative taco selections such as Al Pastor, Quesabirria, and the inventive Mac Mama.
