LSL opened on Avenue Road in North York in 2024, backed by restaurateur William Cheng and named after chefs Didier Leroy, Masaki Saito and Christian Le Squer. The nine-seat restaurant served a single tasting menu at a hinoki counter, pairing French haute cuisine with Japanese ingredients and technique, and was recommended in the MICHELIN Guide Toronto 2025. After Leroy left at the end of 2025, the restaurant reopened in March 2026 as Onze, now with eleven seats; Le Squer and Saito remain involved in menu development while chef Hiroki Aikawa runs the kitchen day to day.
