Le Mousso

Le Mousso was a highly acclaimed contemporary restaurant located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, founded in 2015 by Chef Antonin Mousseau-Rivard and his partner Katerine Mousseau. Known for its avant-garde Québécois interpretation of New Nordic cuisine, the dining room featured a minimalist design adorned with backlit abstract murals created by the chef's grandfather, the prominent artist Jean-Paul Mousseau. The restaurant operated on a unique unified dining model, serving an inventive multi-course tasting menu simultaneously to all guests, with past signature ingredients including fir-smoked scallops, crab-celery-bergamot, and foie gras creations. Over its 11-year run, Le Mousso achieved significant critical acclaim, earning placements on Canada's 100 Best Restaurants list, a recommendation in the Michelin Guide, and the 'Most Innovative Chef' award for Mousseau-Rivard in 2019, before permanently closing its doors on August 22, 2026.
