Jeju

Jeju is a family-run contemporary Korean restaurant at 540 East Broadway in Vancouver. Dylan Kim runs the kitchen with his mother, Myungseok (Julie) Suh, while his wife Sung Kim runs the front of house. The design draws on the traditional thatched homes of Jeju Island, and the cocktail list is curated by Bar Cham in Seoul. The menu is laid out as a Venn diagram: traditional dishes from "Mama Julie", creative ones from her son Dylan, and shared family-style plates in the middle, such as gochujang-glazed fried chicken and ribeye bulgogi with parmesan, truffle and crisp seaweed bugak. Jeju was listed in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Vancouver.
