ELLIPSIS

ELLIPSIS is a design-forward cafe and cocktail bar located in the iconic, Arthur Erickson-designed Waterfall Building in Vancouver, British Columbia, founded by owner Ming Yang. Formally opening its doors in August 2025, the venue occupies a minimalist space that previously served as an art gallery. Operating under a dual-concept model, the establishment functions as a specialty coffee and brunch spot by day, seamlessly transitioning into an intimate dinner and cocktail destination by night. The culinary program centers on seasonal, share-style plates made with locally sourced ingredients. Highlighted menu offerings include house-made chanterelle pappardelle, mushroom toast, brioche French toast, and pork belly poached eggs. These dishes are complemented by artisanal coffees, specialty matcha, and a curated selection of creative, narrative-driven cocktails.
