Barburu

Barburu is a neighbourhood bakery café in the Yuan Ming Food Court Centre on Burnhamthorpe Road, where East meets West in the pastry case. The menu blends traditional Asian pastries with Western-influenced creations: flaky croissants, including a strawberry cream croissant, sit alongside matcha mochi flan and other matcha sweets. The drinks list leans on matcha too, with banana, strawberry and coconut matcha lattes and a matcha yuzu tonic, next to specialty coffee made from sustainably sourced, small-batch roasted beans and drinks brewed from fresh fruit and loose-leaf tea.
