Bar Saint-Denis

A neighbourhood restaurant at 6966 rue Saint-Denis in Montreal, run by Emily Homsy and David Gauthier, both of whom came through Au Pied de Cochon, with kitchen experience that also takes in Toque! and Montreal Plaza. The cooking is largely traditional French with occasional Lebanese notes, running from labneh, clams and tabbouleh through to foie gras, stuffed cabbage and suckling pig with sauce Robert. The room is done in a retro style with a bar counter and open kitchen. Bar Saint-Denis is listed in the MICHELIN Guide and has appeared on Canada's 100 Best Restaurants.
