Founded by Gianni Bardini, a former Italian diplomat born in Tuscany, the restaurant aims to fill a gap in Toronto's food scene by offering accessible, high-quality Italian food. The kitchen is led by Chef Dario Tomaselli, an instructor from George Brown College, focusing on a streamlined menu of classic dishes cooked to order with quality ingredients.
