Ikkousha Ramen

Ikkousha Ramen (博多一幸舍) is a Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen restaurant on Queen Street West in downtown Toronto, representing the first Canadian location of the internationally recognised Japanese chain. Founded in Fukuoka, Japan in 2004, the brand operates over 70 locations worldwide and takes its name from Hakata, the Fukuoka ward regarded as the birthplace of tonkotsu ramen. The restaurant features a compact, counter-focused setting reminiscent of authentic ramen shops in Japan. Signature bowls include the rich Tonkotsu Ramen and Black Tonkotsu with black garlic oil, served with thin al dente noodles, slow-braised chashu pork, soft-boiled flavoured egg, wood ear mushrooms, and green onions.
