DaiLo is a New Asian cuisine restaurant at 503 College Street in Toronto's Little Italy neighbourhood, operating since 2014. Founded by Chef Nick Liu, whose Hakka parents raised him in Canada, the restaurant blends Chinese culinary heritage with French cooking traditions. The space has a sleek, intimate atmosphere with elevated décor that matches its contemporary pan-Asian approach. Signature dishes include the whole deep-fried trout, tableside-presented with fried Thai basil, almonds, and three house dips, as well as truffle-infused Chinese fried rice. Toronto Life has featured DaiLo prominently, and Food Network Canada's Roger Mooking has praised its balance of authenticity and culinary evolution. Frommer's awarded the restaurant three stars. Well suited for group dinners and creative dining experiences on College Street West.
